Richard Corliss was top shelf!

Although I sometimes offer quick "Video Guy" movie reviews, I am not a highly educated film critic. Meaning I have no knowledge of filming technique itself, or of what it takes to be a good director, and this far removed from my tenure at the Video store, I have an appalling lack of movie trivia knowledge. I know what I like, that's all. Accordingly, I often disagree with professional movie critics whose job, it sometimes appears, is to go all "hoity-toity" on us commoners. I must say, however, that I was sad to hear of the passing of Time Magazine's Richard Corliss. That dude was top shelf!
