Video Guy recommends "ARRIVAL." This ain't yer grandma's sci-fi, folks...it's a deliberately-paced thinking person's film - complex on several levels, yet very simple and timely for our current world. I LOVE Amy Adams, so I'll see any film she makes, and I'm glad I saw this one. In this movie, she is a grieving mother and a language specialist who is enlisted to decipher the language of "visitors" who have landed in 12 places in the world. Very intriguingly written, but you'll have to pay attention to understand how it all ties together.
